Personal Experience & Biography
As a dedicated and compassionate therapist, I specialize in supporting individuals navigating mental health and substance use challenges. My passion lies in helping clients build resilience and gain the tools they need to overcome life’s obstacles, providing them with a safe and empowering space for growth and healing. I believe in the power of connection and the importance of meeting clients where they are in life. I have experience in foster care, university counseling, substance use/recovery, and a wide range of other mental health concerns.
I work primarily with adolescents through adulthood, recognizing the unique struggles faced during these formative years and beyond. With a client-centered approach, I use a combination of evidence-based treatment modalities such as Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Person-Centered Therapy to support clients in creating meaningful change. Each session is tailored to the individual’s needs, fostering collaboration and building trust to help achieve their goals.
Whether working through past trauma, managing anxiety, or addressing substance use concerns, my goal is to guide you toward long-term well-being by developing coping strategies, increasing self-awareness, and nurturing personal growth. I am deeply committed to providing the support, encouragement, and skills needed to navigate life’s challenges with confidence and a renewed sense of hope.
